Directorate General of Health Services 
School Health Scheme provides following services to school going children of GNCT of Delhi:
- Screening for deficiencies, diseases & disabilities of all children.
- First-aid care services.
- Linkage with hospitals in case of emergencies & referral
- Treatment and Curative services through OPD services.
- Follow- up of referred children.
- Health awareness session on various health topics like- WIFS, Mass De-worming, seasonal diseases, nutritional awareness etc.
- Synergizing with programmes of health Deptt.
- School Mental Health programme (Drug and substance abuse)
- Implementation of Weekly Iron Folic Acid Supplementation (WIFS) programme
- Implementation of annual De-worming programme
- Provision of First Aid services in schools
- Capacity building of Nodal teachers in BLS and first aid has been done .
