5. Reasons for Low Coverage
- Coverage reflected through Online Reporting System of Dte. of Education is lower than actual consumption because of following reasons/ challenges:
- All the schools not regularly reporting. Some schools are reporting number of tablets consumed in place of number of students
- The current online reporting proforma of DOE does not tap following information:
Number of students who consumed 1-3 tablets /month, Number of students who refused IFA tablets
6. Action taken by SHS to Address Challenges
- Login details of web portal provided to District MOI/Cs of SHS to monitor and contact defaulting school nodal teachers to upload reports
- Health Talks by MO/PHN on day of distribution of IFA tablets in class rooms and during Assemblies/PTMs
- Request made to DOE: To issue instructions to HoS and amend the online reporting format to tap information on the No. of children who consumed < 1-3 IFA tabs in the month, or those who refused
