Guidelines for online submission of application for registration/ renewal of registration/ modification in number of beds.

  1. The applicant has to download all the necessary forms/documents from website https://dgehs.delhi.gov.in/dghs/nhc/about-us. Refer following links to download the necessary forms/documents:
  2. The applicant has to apply online for registration/ renewal of registration/ modification in number of beds. Online Application Link: Click Here. After Successful submission of the online form, applicant will get an auto generated Application Reference ID with the Acknowledgement Page. 
    Note: Please save the Application Reference ID or take print of Acknowledgement Page for future reference.
  3. The applicant has to deposit the prescribed fee to account of Director General Health Services.

  4.  After downloading relevant forms, from website link: https://dgehs.delhi.gov.in/dghs/nhc/nursing-home-registration-renewal-forms , the applicant has to fill the application form correctly, attaching all the necessary documents as per checklist, and Proof of depositing the prescribed fees, the applicant will send the scanned copies of application form with all the necessary documents as per checklist to the email nursinghomecell-dghs[at]delhi[dot]gov[dot]in clearly mentioning the reference ID generated at the time of online submission of details for convenience of applicant and to save on processing time of application. 
  5. Submitted forms along with all the documents, will be checked and deficiencies (if any) will be communicated to the applicant through official email only.
  6. After rectifying all the deficiencies, the applicant will communicate through official e-mail of concerned nursing home/hospital only, that deficiencies have been rectified along with submission of proof of rectification mentioning the original reference ID generated at the time of online submission of details, only after this the file with all necessary documents will be submitted to Nursing Home Cell in physical form for further processing. 
  7. Thereafter, the inspection of the applicant Nursing home/Hospital will be conducted by either concerned CDMO inspection team or Medical Superintendent, Nursing Home Cell.
  8. After the inspection is done and the hospital/Nursing Home found fit for registration/ renewal of registration/ modification in number of beds, the file will be sent to DGHS cum supervising authority through nursing home cell for approval and signature on the certificate. In case, the hospital/nursing home found unfit during inspection, the deficiencies/notice will be communicated to the hospital through registered email only. 
  9. After the approval and signature of registration certificate, the scanned copy (for reference only) of same will be sent to official email id of concerned hospital/Nursing Home. After that the registration certificate in original can be collected from Nursing Home Cell by keeper/authorized representative of hospital/nursing home. The original copy of registration certificate has to be mandatorily displayed at a prominently visible place in the hospital / nursing home.

    This department (Nursing Home Cell) does not take responsibility for the veracity of the documents submitted by the Applicant/Keeper of Nursing Home. It is the responsibility of the Applicant/Keeper of Nursing Home to verify all the forms/documents before submitting them to the Nursing Home Cell.
