Central Procurement Agency

Central Procurement Agency (CPA) was established in 1994. It procures medicines & surgical consumables for all Delhi Govt. Institutions.

1. Essential Drug List (EDL) committee- to frequently update the list of essential drugs.
2. Special Purchase Committee (SPC)- to supervise the procurement of items.
3. Technical Approval Committee for Surgical Consumables (TACSC)- to decide the specification of surgical    consumables

CPA ensures availability of quality drugs & surgical items promotes prescription of generic drugs “NIRANTAR” Integrated supply chain management system facilitates CPA working.
